Self - Assembly Tips

A number of useful and important tips:

-       We advise you to read through all the steps of the assembly process in the instruction manual before starting.

-       Avoid assembling the Babboe indoors unless you have wide doors. Babboe cargo bikes are 88 cm wide and most doors are only around 80 cm wide.

-       Unfold the front and back cover of the manual completely. This way you will always have the overview of all parts and nuts and bolts at hand.

-       Make sure you have all required parts by checking it against the overview of parts in the front cover of the instruction manual. If parts are missing, please contact valery.mdk@gmail.com

-       If you have purchased a Babboe with a design, be sure to put the design decals on the wood panels before starting to assemble the bike.  This will ensure the the design decals have sufficient time to dry before you start  manipulating the wood panels.

Tool Set:

Make sure you have the Babboe tool set to hand (The tool set is included in the shipment). This tool set includes:

                           2 open-ended spanners of 0.70 inch (17 mm)

                           1 open-ended or ring spanner of 0.59 inch (15 mm)

                           1 open-ended or ring spanner of 0.39 inch (10 mm)

                           2 inbus keys (or Allen wrench) of 0.20 inch & 0.24 inch (5 mm & 6 mm)

ATTENTION: You will also need a Phillips screwdriver which is not included in the Babboe tool set.
