Anita will be blogging about her experiences with the Babboe Max-E for a year. Anita is married with 3 children. She’s a child minder and uses the Babboe Max-E to take the children on outings. Read her first blog.
Finally, the time had come! Time always seems to drag when you’re anxiously awaiting something. On Tuesday morning, the bell rang and there was our Babboe Max-E! Together, we took delivery of the new cargo bike and “put it together”. My youngest was very enthusiastic and sat in the cargo bike while doing crafts. I drove it to the front door, but that wasn’t enough, this little cargo bike enthusiast wanted to go a bit further. So, we took an extra-long trip to the back yard. Wow wow, what a wonderful, fantastic bike this is! It rides as light as a feather in the first mode. And even with 5 children, it’s still a breeze in mode 3! I’m seriously thinking that I’ll be able to tackle the dreaded bridge (which I normally always avoid) to go to school.
The Babboe Max-E included a baby seat, toddler seat and little kid seat. Absolute must-haves. With the benches being positioned differently, the children move from front to back when taking a corner. It’s therefore really important that they’re properly secured.
We draw lots of attention. It’s fun to hear and see all those enthusiastic reactions. But the kids’ reactions are the best. Not only do they have enough space, which is practical, they’re also happy to be hanging out with so many kids in the cargo bike. It truly is like a party for them!
