Privacy Policy Babboe

We, Babboe BV, established at Koedijkerweg 12A, 3816 BV Amersfoort, ensure that we process personal data in accordance with privacy laws and regulations, including Regulation (EU) 2017/679 on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and regarding the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation), "GDPR").

With this statement we inform you about the personal data we process, the processing we perform and your rights as the person involved.

Processing of personal data

Personal data are all data that identify or make identifiable a natural person (the data subject), including a name, (email) address, bank account number, or telephone number.

We may process the following personal data: your name, date of birth, address, email address, telephone number, IP address, and bank account number. The processing that we carry out with these data have different purposes: execution of an agreement (order, contact with the carrier, delivery of your order), carrying out repair work, communication with you concerning an order and/or a query, sending digital marketing messages to our customers and setting up giveaways. These processing operations have a legal basis at all times: they are based on your consent, needed in the context of the execution of an agreement to which you are a party, needed to comply with our statutory (storage) duty or needed to represent our legitimate (company) interest, which we will always weigh against your right to privacy. Where necessary, we conclude processor agreements with parties that carry out certain processing activities for us.

We provide personal data to a number of third parties, if and to the extent that this is necessary for the above purposes: to transporters with whom we cooperate in the context of transporting (parts of) bicycles, to the insurer with whom you take out a cargo bike insurance policy, to banks for the execution of payment orders and to the cooperation partners mentioned in the conditions within the framework of giveaways. With regard to the processing that is based on your consent, you are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. Non-provision of data may result in you not being able to take part in a giveaway, for example. We retain personal data for as long as necessary in the context of the purpose for which the data was collected. We may retain personal data after the purpose of processing has been reached in the context of archiving and/or statistical purposes, whereby we will ensure that we limit the amount of personal data to be retained.
