Where can I find my cargo bike's framenumber

The Babboe cargo bike's frame number can be found in one of these places:

  1. On the front of the seatpost
  2. On the back of the seatpost
  3. On the left side of the bottom bracket
  4. Above the mid-drive motor (Mountain cargo bike)

On the front of the seatpost

In most cases, you will see a sticker on the cargo bike's seat post. The frame number is located under the bar code.

On the back of the seatpost (on Mountain models)

On most Mountain models there is a sticker, on this sticker the frame number can be found with frame number on the back of the seatpost. The frame number consists of AC plus 7 digits.

On the left side of the bottom bracket

If you don't see a sticker on the seat tube, then you'll find the frame number on the curve of the bottom bracket on the left side of the frame as seen from the saddle (where the pedal protrudes from the frame).

Above the mid-drive motor (Mountain)

For Mountain models, the frame number is located above the suspension of the mid-drive motor.

Frame number composition

The frame number consists of a combination of digits and letters, namely:

Babboe Big, City, Curve, Dog, Go
Letters GB – 2 digits – 1 capital letter– 5 digits
For example: GB99A12345

Old Babboe cargo bikes may have frame numbers starting with 11, 12 or CAK.

Babboe Mountain models:
1 capital letter – 9 digits
For example: U123456789
of
1 capital letter – 3 digits – 1 capital letter – 5 digits
For example: A123B45678

Other Babboe models (as of 2019):
As of 2019, the frame numbers consist of a new letter and digit combination.
Letters WSP - 5 digits - P
For example: WSP12345P

Other Babboe models (as of May 2020):
As of May 2020, the frame numbers consist of a new letter and digit combination as well.
Letters AC - 7 digits
For example: AC1234567
