What if I do not want to return my cargo bike?

All Babboe models that we recall may be unsafe. We urge you not to use a cargo bike that we are recalling. The bicycle poses a risk to you and other road users.

What you need to know in advance

• We cannot guarantee the safety of the models we are recalling.
• You are not entitled to the compensation from the Babboe recovery plan if you do not return your cargo bike.
• Hand in your bike and get a certificate to order a new bike. Read What can I do if my cargo bike is affected by the recall?
• It is not allowed to sell a cargo bike that we are recalling. You deliberately sell a bicycle that is not safe.

Hand in your cargo bike anyway

You don't have to hand in your cargo bike yourself. We will pick up the bike at your home. Sign up on checkyourcargobike.co.uk You will receive an e-mail with a date and time when your bike will be picked up.
